Lancaster / lancashire DH????

I've just moved to lancaster and was wondering if people knew any decent DH runs anywhere? Anything i've seen in past forums was from 2-3 years ago so just wondered if stuff is still about???

    You'll have to go to the Lakes for decent DH!

    Gisburn Forest has a purpose built downhill track.

    Also a downhill track at Staveley in the Lakes. I think it's private but I'm sure nearby wheelbase know more about it, and access rights.
