Hi everyone!
This is my frist post on this forum although I am a big fan of the site.
I am having a few problem with my forks. The forks are Fox Float 100 rlc 2007. I have just had them serviced and all went well. The only problem is the lock out no longer works. We did not touch the lock out at any point during the service but it feeels like now the lever does not turn the whole way around?
Would this have happened during the service or is this something that might have happened on a ride?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Phill

Did you send them away to be serviced?0

Thanks for the reply supersonic!
Nope,
My friend did it. He has done it many times to many forks, it was a simple seal and oil change. Sending them away is not an option for me at the moment.
After soem further googleing Im looking towards the rlc side. Does anyone have any videos or pics of taking this rlc apart and adjusting the lockout from there?0 -
Has the blow off adjuster (on the underside of the fork leg) been wound all the way out?0

Floosy,
Is this the blue knob on the bottom of the fork? This is snapped off (second hand fork!) but I can hae a go at it with some plyers. I dont think it was moved suring the service though.0 -
Yes it should have been a blue knob.... (no laughing you lot)
With the lever set to lockout... Im assuming the y still move up and down..
Is it the same effort to compress when locked and unlocked?
If its harder when locked they I would suspect blowoff is not set. right.
Have a go at tightening with pliers but be carefull, you have a lot of leverage with pliers.

The effort to compress the fork is pretty much the same locked or not.
Ive tried to move the adjuster with pliers but it wont budge?
The adjuster has never moved since Ive had the forks, it is only since the service the lock out has not worked.
Any other suggestions?
I just took the rlc apart and cleaned it out, everything seems to be moving as it should in there but still no joy once I put it back together.0 -
Sorry Phil Im out of ideas then.
