Routes nr Hawkshead
Hi,
I'm staying just South of Hawkshead around Easter and was after a couple of loops to explore when I get a pass from child-wrangling.
Found this:
http://www.gpsies.com/map.do?fileId=udkwvytexqwpauww
any good? Anyone have any better suggestions?
Looking for anything from a 1 hr blast to 1/2 or full days riding.
Cheers
Dan

Wow, cheers for the links, plenty to go at!
and thanks for the trail centre recommendations, although I prefer natural trails, plus I suspect they will be rammed over the easter hols.

Was down there yesterday with a few mates and spent 5hrs with a map checking out bridleways
Ironkeld and Tilberthwaite are must do`s if you fancy heading up to Ambleside via Loughrigg Terrace and checking out Biketreks. The cafe just along from there is good, Applepie or something like that or Zefferelis down the street..
The bridleway leading onto the Northface trail is good for getting down to Grizdale and then out to Parka Moor with 2 route choices thereafter.
