Hi all.
As anyone sent a frame by post before? I'm going to sell my frame on ebay once I get my new one. I know frames are different weights, but roughly how much would a 20" frame cost to send using royal mail?
Cheers guys

Really? Never used a courier before. I might try my chances with local pick up first0 -
About 7 quid to send a frame - just put the dimensions and weight into the quick quote. They pick it up next day usually.0

That cheap? Nice one. Do you have to wrap it up?0 -
Yep! You should put it in a carton of some sort ideally.0

Thanks for that, just been on the website, and estimating frame at 25kg, £7.14. I bet that will save me a fortune. I bet a carton not be cheap though .0

25kg is a bit much!
Ask a bike shop to save you box.0 -

Maybe, just making sure that i cover it. Will weight it once it has been dismantled. It is a cindercone 2007, 20" though, so quite heavy.
Good thinking0 -
its wont be as heavy as my NS or the P7 I sent... they were posted next day for £6.50!0

Really? It costs more than that at the post office to send a letter0 -
These couriers are bloody fantastic, anything that is fairly large or awkward will never be dragged to the PO again lol.0

Yup i've been really impressed.
Sent a jopin recorded at the PO for £4... for £2 more I sent a frame, forks, bars and stem.0 -
Well, I have a carton with my new frame0
