I completed the wrynose or bust last year and should be doing it again this year. Not on your list but two others I completed last year were:

Pennine Challenge (Oldham, saddleworth, rochdale) 100km, end of May
Lancashire Loop (lune valley, bowland fells, ribble valley) 100 mile, end of September

All pretty tough for different reasons. I do want to try the rivington 100 as it's on my doorstep.

Loved the broken spoke last year - any ride that gives you a tea stop and then one with beans on toast is a good one in my book.

Must agree with this post - hot beans on toast on a pretty miserable day set me up nicely for the last couple of climbs.

The course itself was good though there were some missing signs in the last 10k which meant a lot of the riders took the wrong route back. I think a local farmer was suspected and they have addressed the issue for this year.

The climb out of Pontfadog was real killer - very steep, wet and gravelly but really enjoyable to look back on.

Heard that the rivi 100 has been cancelled. Did it last year and enjoyed it.

Signed up for the Polcini Legs and Kegs event - looks good.
