I have a Trek remedy 7 that had RockShox Lyrik IS U-Turn w/E2 steerer, 20mm Maxle, 115-160mm front suspension, which have worn out and need replacing
Does anyone know of any replacement forks for around £450?
i have been quoted £472 for mine to be refurbished.
Thanks

forks dont really "wear out"... bushings can wear... but they are cheap as chips.I like bikes and stuff0

the left stanion coating has worn away and my local bike shop has quoted £475 to get them repaired and serviced.Bike - Trek Remey

I paid £300 for a mint condition set of Lyriks, used, so that's what I'd suggest... Likewise I paid about the same for a good condition set of used 150mm Revelation Teams, but reducing the fork length will change the bike's handling a little. (though will also make it a fair bit lighter).
So the question's back to you- do you actually need a massive hard hitting fork?Uncompromising extremist0 -
I've got the same bike and had the same forks as you, sold them on and got a set of 150mm Rev's and saved 1kg in weight! Picked them up for £280 off of ebay, second hand but no used.Trek Remedy 7 2009
