Punto is having a Service and MOT today, who can guess how much it'll cost me and what will be wrong?
The person with the nearest answer to the cost, will winner will get the satisfaction of being right.

My sister had a punto for a (short) while, and it damned near fell apart over that time.
I'm gonna say it'll come back with around a £300 repair bill, most likely ECU issues and brake misalignment :twisted:0 -
I am going to go with earth fualts on the rear lights
replacement bulb
new CV joint (one side only, at a guess passenger side)
Wiper blade replacements
plus a few other bits
MOT £50
Service (all bits not including replacements parts) £155
Parts £40
Total (including labour and VAT) £3450 -
My guess is £370 all in + two pages of advisory notices0
-
im gonna go for £450
atleast 1 bulb out
atleast 1 blade needing redoing
emissions fail?
hmmm, and just for funsies, something in the drivetrain.0 -

After the MOT centre, next stop will be the ELV Centre.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I reckon it'll require karmic realignment, and it'll get an advisory for vampire infestation.Uncompromising extremist0

Hmm:
New engine-£1500
New gearbox-£500
Rear Right shock absorber:£1500 -
£140 and it passed!
Just advice for the rear coil spring things?
Oh and the back wheels were on the wrong sides or something...but they switched them.0 -
Those rear coil spring things cost a fortune to get replaced! I looked into it, but luckily, the punto failed it's MOT and got scrapped before I did any more work on it!It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

You're allegedly a woman, therefore its in the mechanics manual to rip you off at every opportunity as lets face it you wont have a clue if they did or didn't.0 -
