This may be a bit of a daft question but can I go tubless on my DT Swiss 430 rims and if so apart from tubeless tyres what else do I need to seal in the air around the valve

    Yes, you need conversion kit.

DT swiss make their own or buy an alternative one stans.

You dont need tubless tyres but are reccomended. Will depend on the quality of your standard tyre, i.e. wont work if your sidewall threads are splitting.

I did a search but it just brings up different brands of tubeless tyres, so thought I may just ask.

Thanks Dirtmonkee, will have a look

Watch the third video here which explains it all. It (watching all the videos) helped me understand the whole tubeless think.

Riding this Boardman Team FS 2010. Also trying my first blog.
