Hi I'm a mountain biker and have entered the London to Brighton ride. I'm looking to hire a road bike to do it on. I've spoken to a local shop who can hire me a trek 2.3 but they only have up to a 60cm frame and I'm worried that at 6 foot 6 that won't be big enough. Does anybody know of any where that hires decent road bikes?

depends how flexible you are and proportion of arm/body/leg lengths, 60cm might do it if you can get a longer seat post, perhaps stem too

best way is try it in the shop and see how it feels

It's not that long a ride - for the cost of a hire bike you may be better off just getting slick tyres for your MTB ?
