I've been given the go ahead to get another bike by the Mrs.

I'm not spending a fortune, the less the better.

I just need something to use on the road/cycle path when going on rides with my girlfriend.

I want a single speed but she thinks I should get something with gears.

What are my options?

Your wife sounds very easy going ,allowing you to get a new bike to go out riding with the girlfriend! :)

I think you need a beautifully upgraded Bianchi via Condotti single speed. There might just be something on eBay.

You seem to already have the PX bug. I ve got a Pro Carbon SL and my do it all bike is a Kaffenbach I ve built up. I ve also got an On One in bred single speed.

The Kaffenbach certainly gets used more. But if you defo want a single speed and you want it road orientated then get the Pompino at £399 its a bargain.

I dont know what the terrain is like near you. But I do miss gears when on the S/S so for me it would be a Kaffenbach or an Uncle John.
