found these in a box in the shed and thought i would give them a try
just wondering what sort of cleats i need for them as they are quite old pedals ?
also wondering whether i need cleats with a float or not ? basically i have never used clipless pedals before so want whatever will be the easiest to unclip out of
thanks in advance

I've used SH-56 cleats with all the SPDs I've used in the 20 years they have been underfoot. Ebay is probably the best place to look, I've bought cleats for £8 in the past.
You can reduce the tension till you build confidence and the scars have healed.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
You'll need this type of cleat:

...with a pair of 'two-bolt' compatible SPD shoes.Cycling weakly0 -

Yes but they are an auction. These are a fixed price auction and 50p dearer than the listing you posted.
