Anyone seen or had a go on one of these: http://www.innercitybikes.com/bikes/
Interesting idea, bet they feel strange to ride first time!

But they have 1:1 gearing, wasn't that why the penny farthing gave way to the new fangled "safety bicycle".
Stick your bike in the granny ring and ride around town in 1st or second gear on the cassette, I think you'll get fed up very quickly, whether or not you can power up kerbs with ease.Northwind wrote: It's like I covered it in superglue and rode it through ebay.0 -

The link (works for me) or the fact that there is very little on it? I quite fancy a go one one just to see how strange it is!Bikes are OK, I guess... :-)

A bizarre but sensible design
I'd gladly commute around the city with one of those, but no high speed stuff, that short wheelbase makes me nervous...0 -

What terrifies me about the 36'er is just how close those wheels are to one another
Any flex in the frame under braking could result in a trip to the orthodontist
Also, are 36" tyres readily available at the average LBS?0
