I didn't see it but caught the World Olympic Dreams that followed which was truly inspirational. Matthew Pinsent went out to Iraq to spend time with a couple of Iraqi rowers. Their training at the worst of the post war violence left them regularly rowing among dead bodies on the Tigris. Call me old fashioned but it really did show what the Olympic spirit should be about, they have no chance of winning anything but just getting there is a huge achievement.0

you want the rowing at the 2012 olympics to be in river filled with dead bodies?
Better cancel the national rowing centre and use the Trent and the Thames then?Want to know the Spen666 behind the posts?
