Woke up, got in shower, still dopey, got in car, started driving, thud thud thud. Yay yet another flat tyre, this time not on the bike but the Jaaaaaaag. Hopefully its not a new tyre again, tread is ok as its not that old but you know what these places are like, managed to get some air in it via track pump that was in my car and got to work ok. i suppose i'll put the spare on at lunch and see what i can do with it.

Got Naff all to do before 10:30 then i got 2 interviewees coming in till 1.30 then a nice trip to the coast before a night ride tonight. so gonna get bike out of car, clean it and attempt to sort out the tubless kit.

Much coffee needed before any motivation kicks in

    Good Morning Freaks!

Struggled on the ride in this morning, legs are pretty dead. Strong wind and mist didn't help much either. I think today is going to be a caffine overdose day.

Going to be busy (again!) at work today, however, tonight I'm going to see what cycling goodies Lidl's have in stock.

@Kaiser - fingers crossed that all goes well buddy :)

I'm stuck at work, trying to work out pricing for some bike bits I'll be selling soon (new frame time soon!)

Other than that, drinking copious amounts of tea. I figure the more tea I drink, the more I'll need the bathroom, which means less time at my desk doing work.

Morning, ran again last night and dropped 3 minutes off a 2.13 mile run. Couldn't manage a second lap though as I'd killed myself.

Probable ride tonight so may well bring the steed in to "upgrade"it.

Mrs K (elder) is having here implantable Defib changed after 8.5 years so its not exactly a standard procedure if you know what i mean. Its pretty amazing what they can do and the cardio consultant is the same one that did that old bacon faced dude at sports club in manchester, the fergie dude!

mornin. Got up late today, so ended up driving to work, instead of riding as I'd intended.

I wish I had a Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag to have a flat tyre on.

    Mornin' everyone! Well, near enough.

I like having the week off work. Not enjoyed lie ins for quite a while, so this is bliss! Had some breakfast, and then a bath (why not!). Plan for this afternoon is to start packing up my house ready for the move a week today. I don't think it's too bad to be honest :?

I finally got the chain device on my Blender yesterday (after weeks of problems. Lost washers, rounded off bolt heads, wrong side washer, wrong length replacement bolts, new washers, find the originals, then discover I didn't need washers, the back plate was on the wrong way round DOH!) but I think my gears are completely out, the chain doesn't know what to do with itself. So, in between packing, I shall be fettling. I hope to get to Stainburn tomorrow. Shame on me for living so close to it, yet never ridden it.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Looking at the price of fuel and my overspend on bikes n so on.. I may actually get myself a cheap ass commute bike and get myself run over in attempt to stay afloat. Joyful fun :s

Not a bad idea for summer. My problem is that I need the car for work otherwise I'd spend more days riding in.

well, i rode to the bike shop at lunch time and picked myself up a nice shiny new camelbak with a hefty £10 discount courtesy of the lbs 8)

then on the way back i nearlly got killed by some silly tart driving down the road checking her lipstick in the rear view mirror whilst on her phone!!!!! the side road where i work is quite narrow, but still just wide enough to fit 2 cars down, i was riding on teh correct side of the road, she wasn't!!!

but it was still nice to go for a ride in a tshirt 8)

Now fixed, £11.00 puncture repair, if you ever did get a Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag you'd get used to getting flat tyres

Well 3 failled attempts at conferting to tubless today, putting my tubes back in and leaving it till the weekend i think? need a hefty compressor i think, my track pump or sainsburys compressor just wasnt cutting it

Fitted new gear cable and new rear derailieur, as it turns out the cable was probably the cause of the dodgy shifting as there was a frayed cable about 2 inches up from the bottom but not at the end? :?

Now fitting some new front pads and getting ready for a night ride, all in a days work :wink:
