Is this sort of air compressor good enough to seat tubeless ? Some tyres seat the bead easily with a track pump, whereas used or non ust just wont happen for me. This compressor is only £70 ish so seems a bargain?

Also, do I need a special adapter - was thinking I could just take out the value core and blast it to seat the bead?

you will need an air line and tyre inflater as well."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

hmmmm, hard to say.
For inflating tubeless tyres, what I found is that you need is a lot of air in order to seat the tyre so that reservoir had to be quite big*. From memory my compressor is about 50 l so much bigger than the 6 l tiddler you see there so I cannot say if it will work.
* actually that is not quite true - it is about volume of air - small reservoir at high pressure = big reservoir at low pressure - the latter is my case since I use it for paint spraying left at about 30 psi..
If you are buying a compressor just for doing tyres, then think about how often you will need to use it.
It is possible to seat the tyre using a barrel pump but the trick is to apply washing up liquid to the rim/trye interface to form a temporary seal that holds just long enough to seat the tyre.
Try that first before spending money on a compressor or spend a bit more on a bigger one so you can do other things like spray painting and/or use air tools.0
