It's getting towards that time of year when it will be light enough to go for a ride after work and I need something substantial & nutritious to eat at work during the afternoon.
I quite like cold cooked pasta but I was wondering what I could add to it to spice it up a bit? Have tried mayo and pesto but it's all a bit meh
No bacon or pizza suggestions pls I'm being serious now

Combine both to get tasty, spicy pasta.0 -
Don't know if you can still buy them but in the past I have added a flavoured stock cube ( chinese, italian etc) to the water when making the pasta and had it with some tuna, olive oil and beans, Borlotti or kidney not baked.0

Eugh. Tuna is a crime against nature. Every time you eat it, the gods kill a trail fairy.0

Hmm go with some chillies ffired in some good virgin oil, to get some heat in the oil, and some nuts and bacons so they toast and there flavour, pine nuts as said above is great. spiced meats also work here so small peices of Chorizo are also bumper!
You can also towards the end off gettings everything nicely done chuck in some good fresh herbs, basil/ parsley what ever to get a taste blast. I like greek oregano buts thats a pretty personal one0
