And the answer is........What fits you the best?

You simply cannot choose just be looking at comparisons. You need to get the Assos on the saddle and try them out

After asking a similar question a few months ago I can confirm that the "bum on saddle" approach is the only way. :)

+1 on the 'must ride' before purchasing thread - although I too was choosing between a Wilier and a Trek last year and plumped for the Wilier in the end, Nothing in the price or spec really, it just felt better. 9 months on and I love it as much as the day i got it,

Hi Andrew. Looks like you are getting a new machine for the summer?

We'll have to arrange to go out for a ride at some point before you get it, to give me a chance to keep up with you on your 'old' bike! I've hardly been out this year. Bad weather, a chest infection that required antibiotics they normally give to horses, and a son who fritters away the weekends with swiming lesson are conspiring agianst me.

I have no idea about the specific models but don't necessarily agree about having to try a bike before buying it. As long as you know the geometry of the candidate bikes, head tube length and the top tube length and compare them to an existing comfy bike then I reckon you can predict how well a new bike will fit you.
