questions.
Bought this BB ages ago.. but had a replacement frame since then,
It's a Token, gold tiramic BB.
The info with the Ad specified "Shimano, Raceface and Truvativ (adaptor supplied) Compatible" also "and fits 68/73mm BB shells" which my Meta 5 is OK for,
Any ideas on the Truvativ adaptor lads ? which side and what it may be etc. From what i recall i have the BB complete and a couple of 3mm thick spacers....

Have a look a the Hope BB Adapter for Truvative cranks:

I'm not sure if it will fit your Token BB but you should have something similar in your box if your "adapter supplied" info is correct. I believe that the crank diameter on the Truvativ is slighlty smaller than Shimano etc and the adapter fits inside each bearing.0 -

Thanks mate, will have a looky tonight in the box i have. Saves me buying a whole new crankset as everything else is decent condition and works well... just a bit creaky on the BB.Salsa Spearfish 29er

It is a single push fit top hat that will be fitted to the non drive side inner race."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

only if the bearings are the same dimensions.
Or use it as is and get a shimano crankset without the BB (Pre owned)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Was also debating that yes but seems a waste to bin a perfectly good set of cranks...Salsa Spearfish 29er

Well the Token BB comes with 3 spacers. I'm assuming 2 are the 68-73 spacers and the 3rd being the GXP compatibility spacer ? They're all the same size and dimensions being about 2.5mm.
thoughts lads ?Salsa Spearfish 29er

no. it is a top hat insert that goes in the non drive bearing. most likely ready fitted."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Truvative Firex Giga X pipe GXP i think is the description. They came as stock on my Commie when it was a Super 4.3.
My other obvious option and fairly simple one is to buy a GXP compatible BB and keep the current setup.Salsa Spearfish 29er

or just see if the spacer is fitted and use what you have."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

? what has that got to do with your Token BB?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Sorry, i thought we were talking about what i have on the bike. I'm afraid i'm lost as to where you're going with this now.
I don't understand why i'd have the spacer fitted if i have GXP BB and Truvativ cranks.
I don't have it in the Token box...
So i'm lost as to where you're going with it now and what i'm supposed to be asking/answering..Salsa Spearfish 29er

Looking at the installation manual you should have a TK877-9 shim & a 5.00mm spacer.
Since it stated in you OP that the adapter is supplied, my guess is if its not free in the box then its already installed in the BB (the one in the box not the one on your bike already). Only way to find out is to strip the new BB down & match it to the pics in the manual.Statistically, Six Out Of Seven Dwarves Aren't Happy0
