Morning all,

Today will be sleep deprived Meh with an added dose of meh to bring things up to fully cruddy. May improve later with a sprinkle of slight romantic possibilities.

Coffee consumed in vat sized quantities but no bacons yet :(

  • Morning all, after being in Paris since Friday, it is finally time for us to do some work. Will be heading off soon to go to a few meetings, then back here to collect bags and fly back home! Looking forward to getting home, and seeing the pets and eating a proper cordon bleu.

After getting myself in the dog house Sunday night, and attempting a fix with home made chocolate mousse... I'll be keeping my head down at work pondering how safe it is to go home :?

Might have to go for a ride after work

Gorgeous day here today and I'm feeling chipper. However being stuck behind my desk is disheartening to say the least.

Run tonight then a road based training ride tomorrow morning at 5.30am I reccon.

    Morning all,

Well, my weekend did not quite go to plan.

Club race on Sunday, so cleaned and fettled bike Friday, Saturday a nice easy day letting the offspring go mad at the park. Woke up Sunday to rain, bugger. Luckily by the time I got to event and it was my race start the rain had stopped. Race starts, mass sprint to 1st bit of single track, I get 200m out of the start gate and BOOM, flat tyre. Luckily this early into the race I still had plenty of air in my lungs to turn the air blue. Change tube, get back on it and get to work of chasing down the pack. Or not. Turns out whatever was wrong with my foot last week is still buggered, within 5 minutes I couldn’t ride out of the saddle without my foot screaming at me. Spun my way round to the end of the lap, parked it, went in search of as much junk food as I could get my hands on.

Foot still aches today, so a trip to the doctors is being organised to see if there’s anything obvious wrong with my foot. Won’t be touching a bike this week and am off doing Segway rallying at the weekend, so hopefully some time to give the foot a proper rest.

    Is it 5 yet?

    Today will be mainly ok,
Had a reasonable sleep last night, which is the first one in what feels like months!
My staff managed to their jobs properly over the weekend, and fill their paperwork in correctly  which means that today i will mainly be sitting here chuffed as i finished 3rd yesterday in my 2nd race of the year! result!! :D

Coffee and porridge have been consumed and now attention will be switched to lunch and bike purchases. if my tubeless stuff arrives i will sit and "convert" at work 8)

Managed to book 3 days off this week, and as usual the weather's supposed to be s&*t and I've got no money until Friday.

Your mum's job title is "retard"?
Awesome, how do I get me some of that action?

Also, Jay's mum - I'd love a go on that.
