right my non biking friend smashed me into advising him on a sub 500 bike .. went round a few lbs..and found a few things, he loved the cube analogue (looks) at 550 but i found a Spesh comp 2010 at 600 as they were trying to get rid of old stock .. even though im a cube rider i told him he was stupid to pass up the spesh as it was a much better bike for his cash ..anyhoo that was a simple decision and one i think we will all agree with but was talking to the lad in the shop and he said he had a set of mavic crosstrails 2010 they also needed to get shot of and if i got my pal to buy the bike (it was white BTW) he would do them for 100 .. impulse buy and not researched but saved me a 100er could sell on fleebay for a proffit tomorrow (thats how i looked at it) .. good deal ?? run hope hoops but do i try them on or sell them on ?? shiney stuff loves my bike and fit with my black white colour scheme more than my hoops ... any experiance advice before i crack the tools out tomorrow ?

crossrides are a good beginner into aftermarket wheels wheel, if your running hopes then chances are you wont be too impressed by them,
if you dont have a bike to put them on (they are prolly an upgrade on your mates wheels??) then punt them on ebay!

Do you mean Crosstrails or Crossrides. If they are Crosstrails, then yes, for £100 thats a fuggin' bargain (although doubt you have them)...if they are Crossrides (more likely), then £100 is a good deal over RRP but you'll prob only make £10-£20 if you can flog them....wasn't too long ago they could be had for £110 pair if you hunted about...only sell for £140 now (new with warranty) from CRC...bit cheaper on fleabay.

And its not like you can give the new owner your receipt for warranty whilst it will show you only paid £100 for them, and you won't sell them on here i doubt now that you've told everyone how much you have paid for them
