braided hoses

has anybody fitted these to shimano deore m595 brakes, i am struggling to find a braided kit for these, it seems i can only get these in xt, saint and xtr or is it the same kit

    Not much point in my opinion they don't make any discernible difference on bikes.

    OEM hoses are braided kevlar, so what exactly are you thinking you'll gain?

    Shimano hoses are really good quality, you won't see any performance advantage over upgrading.

    Of course, if you're wanting to pimp your ride a little Goodridge do a kit numbered 104 that should fit your brakes.

    superstar sell braided hoses now. i think they're about £20 for the hose and maybe £6 for the fitting kit

    ^^^ .. plus I reckon they will be heavier but more resistant to cuts, like cuts are a major problem on mountain bikes :?
