Am planning on re locating to the Wirral ( Greasby West Kirby area ). Does anyone know what the cycling is like around here ? Is it possible to easily ride out to Wales and Cheshire direct from these areas ?

Thanks in advance

The Wirral is great for cycling, no big hills or anything but some nice roads, and it is easy enough to get into Wales/Cheshire from West Kirby...you can just head down the A540 towards the Eureka (cycling) cafe, from where you can carry on towards Chester and the Cheshire countryside or down across the Dee Estuary into Wales. There are some nice routes around South/West Wirral too, such as down through Puddington/Ness and other villages along the Dee marshes.

Thanks. How do you get into Wales ? Is it possible to avoid the very busy roads near RAF sealand ?

We have a bike path now that you can use or you can go through from Chester way.
The Wirral is great for cycling and make sure to stop off at the Eureka.
