Cable cutting into frame

It doesnt look good, looks worse in actual life than the picture., only just noticed how bad it actually is post clean, thought it only rubbed off the paint at first.
Basically the front derailleur cable is cutting into the frame at the BB, its a jagwire cable housing so it hasn't destroyed that, but its left a nice little indent and is continuing to do so as I go over the little bumpys the cable stretchs and rubs, it had heli tape there too as you can probably see.
How on earth can I stop this from continuing? The cables are all designed to route under the downtube etc, can't re-route it.

2 issues. the cable tie is stopping the cables moving independently and the cable outer looks too short."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The bike was setup like this since purchase, I did think that lengthening the cable would be a way of stopping it but the problem is you cant have the cables flap about or they get caught in the chainrings.0

remove shock and work the suspension and you will see the problem.
if it really is as supplied by the shop as new i would be taking it back for sorting."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If you read the post, you would see that he had heli tape on already.
As far as what to do, it seems like very poor set up on the part of where you bought it from. They should be liable to fix it in my opinion.0 -
use a pair of scissors to cut a piece of coke can and glue or use tape over the area .... or a bit of inner tube as a buffer.
in both cases, you need to keep an eye on the cable - the bits you add are there to be worn in preference ot the frame.0 -
My brother in law had same issue, took bike back to lbs, very helpfull. spec do a small ally plate that goes around bb to solve issue, my carbon stumpy had one from factory.
give thatt a go.

Eeeek! I'm off to check mine now as it's a 2009 fsr so cables routed same way!0

Checked mine today and all ok. The main difference seems to be a bigger bend in the front mech cable and I don't have the ziptie you can see in your pic, the first one is about 4" up from the BB. I checked that black tape under the BB shell and there is no sign of cable rub so its not a design fault, more like an assembly issue, possibly with the shop you got it from0

That's terrible setup. If it was the rear gear cable the bike would be ghost shifting all over the show.
Take it back to the monkey that set it up and get him to sort it.
Whlie you look on to make sure he does it right.0
