your bike is unrideable due to the weather?
Huge boulders falling from the sky where you are?
There's no such thing as bad bike weather
Addict has a flat back.
Giant defy has low pressure, too low.
Scott Speedster has fecked rear wheel.
Giant MTB has low pressure, too low.
Do I have a pump? No I bloody don't, and given that I'm the buyer for a large bike business it's all kind of ironic.
If the other 6 bikes were here I may have been sorted.

Well Morning all,
The lad I go riding with has gone to watch some rugby game in London :? , leaving me his Brand New 456 Carbon to fettle with ( front mech needs tweeking ) so fix that then rag that around the peaks this after' .
I'll hand it back so he can clean it as payment for me fixing it
By the way it's raining here.I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Good Morning Freaks!
Awesome morning here. 8)
A spot of fettling in the garden, walk the hound and possibly a ride later, then watch the rugby. Bacon and cheese omlette already comnsumed. Today's so far being given a rating of 8/10.0 -
Good morning internet people
Staying with the aunt and uncle, just woke up, spent yesterday shifting a couple of tons of timber from the front garden to the back, hopefullly having a day off today.
Slept for 12 hours last night, that's over twice what I normally ever get to sleep for it was lovely.0 -
I'm defeated by the Newarkshire.... Having been here since December and ridden nothing of interest that isn't 2hours drive away, I'm pondering taking up knitting. Getting an exciting ride in is a bit of a ball ache so no Sunday ride for me... bit of maintenance and some paperwork in front of the TV.0

Yeah, I must say Newark is a bit pants. Not a lot around. Even less around here, unless you're into roadie then there's plenty.

I did think about picking up a cheap fixie to bomb about the roads on in the weekend... but without hills I can't see how it would be entertaining! This must be a problem for roadies too, that without hills riding is plain boring. Are hills a prerequisite to biking (unless you're a BMXer or course)?0

I don't do hills hence I don't tend to ride.. Don't shoot me down in flames, I am here for a legitimate reason!!

Really? When I tell people I'm a mountain biker I prefix it with, I'm a hypocrite.
So what do you ride for? What's your raison d'etre? or raison faire du velo?0 -

If,and when I ride it's usually in anger so I pfefer the MTB. Reasons? I have none except that stated.
Trouble is I find the one route I like and I always end up losing the bike on one particular point. Real steep downhill with a dodgy corner. There's always some crap on the track that throws the front out, usually because I've forgotten to apply the brakes.
Hey ho.

I can't find anything technical to really get me going that's close enough to be worth it. Sherwood Pines is 35min drive away but lacks anything techy
Gonna post a Crudites Dalby ride when the school hols come round next, see what some of you horrible lot look like0 -

As a fellow Newarkian (for the time being anyway), you can count me in for that ride. Funnily enough I'm going to try and get to Dalby next weekend for the first time. Can't wait to see what it's like.0 -
Aah sounds good, pencil me in if you ever want to car share to a trail head. One of the limiting factors for me is fuel cost in getting anywhere! I can get two on the bike rack.
I've plans for this weekend otherwise I'd be pestering to tag along0 -
Weather's orrible here, not riding locally because the trails could do without it, not really worth travelling to somewhere that's above the waterline, so I'm going to sit inside and huff.Uncompromising extremist0

This weeks weather forcast looks decidedley average at best.Advocate of disc brakes.0
