Hi, so ive just ordered a carrera fury from halfords, and decided to get it deliverd boxed as the staff in my local branch didnt exactly inspire confidence. So wondered what would be the essential tools needed for assembly. Also is it worth opening the hubs and greasing them or should these already be greased. Another question, whats the general consensus on the speedking tyres that come with the bike.

Thanks in advance

PS, i got a further 10% of the bike aswell. Just google Halfords promotional codes, think it expires in a few days.

    have a read of Parktools.

pedal spanner and some allen keys.

4 mm and 5 mm will do most of the bolts - maybe a 6 mm for saddle clamp plust pedal spanner - be aware that the LH pedal has left hand thread i.e. you trun opppostive way to tighten - a blob of grease on the threads prior to assembly.

aslo blob of grease on seat post.

no reason to take hubs apart!!!
