I’ve signed up for this in June this year and was wondering if anyone on here has completed the route before. I’m looking for interesting stories, highs, lows, tips and things to look out for.

    Probably the best road ride I have ever done. Much depends how you are taclking it. I was in a small commercially organised group with back up vehicles. Nothing to carry and we did the classic Raid in 100 hrs. We met people doiing it fully laden taking 2 weeks.

    For me highlights were the Aubisque and Tourmalet on the same day and what was I think a 30 mile descent from hte watershed down towards the Med on day 4, but it was all great.

    Other high point was proving to the rest of the sceptical bunch that us 2 old guys on Airnimal folders could hack it with the rest. And we did!
