New wheelset light or bling???

Hi
After many months of trying to work out what wheels to buy I have come to a choice of two sets.
Either
Fulcrum Red Metal Zero's, reasonably light 1600g, tubeless compatable, look very bling!!
Or
Superstar custom builds, Superfast front, Superleggra Ti rear hubs, CX ray spokes, Stans ZTR Crest, Should work out around 1380g - 1400g, not so bling but a lot lighter.
By the time you add QR's and wheelbags to the superstars they will cost the about the same as the RM0's.
Will I really notice the 200g diffrence???
Just undecided have been looking for about 6 months now aaaahhhhhhhhh!!!
I mostly ride XC, single track / fast fire road etc. I am a bit of a porker 14.5st but not into jumps other than the odd speed bump / root.
Please help!?!?!?!?!?!
Thanks

Bling
No point going light weight if you're a porker0 -

Go for the Pimp option!0
-
I'd get the superstar, but with dt comp spokes.0
-
Any reason for dt comp's over the CX ray's?0
-
Will build into a stiffer wheel. Also cheaper.0
-
DT supercomps, best of both worlds ;-)Guinness for strength0
-
I'm 14stone 2 myself and only 5 foot 8. Guiness is my biggest failing lol. Oh, and pizza0

At least I am 6' 5" i suppose. Main fear with buying a light wheelset is that £450 is a lot of cash, I dont want to pringle them on my first, second or hundreth ride.
I can't have the Supercomps as they are not availible from the wheel builder
I will have to spend the extra and get the CX rays.0 -
Which will be good n flexy! Are Revolutions an option? As stiff as CX-Rays, same weight, far cheaper. Buy from Action Sports and they're a bargain.0
-
Spoke options from the wheel builder are
SAPIM plain guage
SAPIM double butted race spokes
SAPIM CX ray
PC Double butted
Like the idea of the CX rays, as you can prob tell. However if they will produce a rubbish flexi wheel what out of the above list would be better? Or should I just call it quits and get the RM0's?
Thanks0 -
Red M0 not worth the cash for the weight. The sapim db spokes will build into a durable wheel and will still be 100g lighter than the rm0.0

If you have that money to spend why not go for ZTR hubs (or DT240) on Crests (or Alpines), with Super Comps. I wouldn't limit yourself to Superstar.0

ive got the American Classic tubeless set on mine, Very impressed, and they have a 240lb rider weight limit too which was a big +point for me!!!
have been riding the past week with the older littlun (4 1/2) on the tag along and the littlun (6 months) in the backpack, not a single grumble formt he wheels,
and is nice not to have the same wheels as everyone else!!Timmo.
