...is needing to go to town 6 miles away, having no car, take a bike.

Which one of the four still here?

NONE.

Addict, flat back, plus too big but I could sort that, just lower the seat and lean like hell.(and take pedals off the speedster)
Giant Defy, low tyre pressure, too low.
Scott Speedster, rear wheel fecked.
Giant MTB, hasn't been used for a while, low tyre pressure. Too low.

Has ANYONE got a pump? Because I bloody well don't.

Irony? Yeah, I'm the buyer for a rather large bike business.

    Put the rear wheel off the addict on the speedster.

    If you don't have a pump at home does that mean you go to the LBS everytime you need to give the tyres a little inflation? Bet they love that!

    No, I'm the buyer for the LBS hence the irony! All the pumps have migrated somewhat west of here.

    Trouble there is the walk to work! Borrowed pump arriving tomorrow so will make sure all are sorted, well the one's I want to ride anyway.

    Plus I'm too tight to buy one even at the price I pay!

    Take the MTB down to the local garage and use their car tyre pump - the valves should be the same. Be careful that you don't overinflate it and it blows up in your face.

    Local garage is a fair walk as well. Out in the sticks here!

    I have 4 pumps, one from the pound shop which isn't that bad, one my gran smoked herself to death for to buy with coupons, a Blackburn stand pump and tiny piece of censored called a Pocket Bullet. I've always said there's nothing better than a damn good pump!

    I'm sure you will all breathe a sigh of relief (not) to know that I finally have the correct pressure required.

    Did I buy a pump? NO did I feckers like, way too tight for that.
