Anyone know about the Brampton company? I know they made parts, what sort of parts? Did they make whole bikes also? Etc. Etc.

I had a pair of Brampton steel road pedals in the mid 60s. These probably dated from the late 50s. Not as good as Campag as they did not have the little tab on the underside of the cage so you could flick the pedal to put your shoe into the toeclip and strap.

I remember Temple books (they were the publishers) which had various adverts for components. You could have a look at these or try websites specialising in vintage bike stuff.0 -

They have them as 1940s but they almost certainly carried on with a similar model to the 50s/60s0 -
