Just fitted Hope M4s to my Superlight

Quite pleased with myself. Never bled a brake before, let alone shorten the hoses, but did both to my new M4s. I think the cable runs are quite tidy - there's a slight twist on the rear at the lever end, probably when I tightened them up. I'll leave it though since they are all bled and ready to go.

Fitted elixirs to my other halves bike, shortening the cables etc for the first time too, its actually surprisingly easy isnt it.

yummy brakes and i have them my self but pimped out with all the blue ano goodness that hope will happily sell you lol..... you shouldnt have a problem stopping bud .. is there a reason you havnt got the matching floating disc for the rear?.

Prices were similar. Wasn't concerned about weight - it's a trail bike. I'd read mixed reviews regarding power for both X2 and M4. Erred on the side of safety with the M4s. So far they aren't super powerful, but they are still bedding in.Santa Cruz Hightower
