Its pish, only one long slog I can think of and quite a pretty route while you are slogging it. Good fun though for a quick 1hr blast.0

75 mins I reckon.
IIRC there's one long steady hill.
I could do that Pink Heifer section all day long 8)0 -
I'm about an average pace rider and I can do it in less than an hour.

cheers for that mate, i feel so much better now and will tackle the ride with reckless abandon with your glowing endorsement0 -
Yeah it's ok.
Nice flowing singletrack to start after the qualifier section then a big long climb followed by a long descent to the finish, mostly rocky with some rooty bits in the woods.
After the climb, starting from the Beginning of the End section I would follow the MBR trail instead of the Temtiwr though. It doesn't add any real time onto it and follows pretty much the same route but has the black rather than red graded trail.0 -
I'd consider doing something else there. Coed y Brenin is defo my fave trail centre this side of Hadrians wall but the Temtiwr is defo the least worthy trail to ride. First sections are great but then a reall pull up road/fire road for a little bit of singletrack at the end. I'd recommend going back to your original plan to ride Cyflym Coch. The Pink Heifer section is worth the visit alone and Uncle Fester will make you want to go back and ride all the Adams family sections. Along with Dreamtime sections you get a defo flavour of the best bits of CyB. An average paced rider wouldn't take much more than an hour 15. so defo worth finding those extra few mins. I reckon after that you'd be planning your next trip as soon as, to ride the lot!
Hope that helps0 -
hmmm, cheers guys, you've got me thinking now. i ride cwmcarn in about 1 hr 30. i did the marin in 2hrs 15mins so i should manage it in around an hour0
