Fudges are often very good and tend to have more choice on the actual spec of groupset you want.

+1 for Fudges very quick delivery & very well packaged.

Groupsets you may be interested are here http://www.fudgescyclestore.com/index.php?c=5235

Having sent an email to congratulate them on their service I got the following reply within two minutes from Andrew Fudge.

    " Hi,
Thanks once again for the order.
It's our pleasure to supply and look forward to helping you in the future.

    Kind regards
    Andrew "

Can't fault them in my experience :D

You won't find fault with Fudge.
I recently bought a SRAM Red groupset and all their kit comes individually boxed as per your spec. There are no OE parts from Fudge, just genuine new, unlike others mentioned in this thread...

What's wrong with OE parts? Aren't they just the same without the box and instructions?

Yeah, but maybe some people like collecting the boxes, me? I just throw them away.

Nope!... The OE kit is as requested by the original manufacturer, therefore usually specced down at the chain and cassette, with different coloured hoods and sometimes brake/gear cables...
Look deeper into it, you'll see for yourself.

Another vote for Fudge cycles. I bought the full Sram red yellow edition for 1180, tried to get a price match at my local specizlized store and they said "we couldn't even buy it for that". Very quick on delivery too.

I don't understand what the problem is with OE kit. You don't get boxes and instructions. Ok we all put the boxes in the bin and instructions are on SRAM's website.

Both Fudges and Merlin options are the same, OK you get white hoods on the levers, but if your building your bike properly with white saddle and white handlebar tape then it's all good

The only think I would question with Merlin is to check you get the Gore cables that should come with Force

Not the chain, or cassette then... Which come as quite an expensive up/down grade...?

  • How do Fudges manage to sell Sram stuff so cheaply?!

Here in the Netherlands the cheapest price quoted for Sram Red is €1060 or about 950 GBP. Shame they dont do mail order.

Speaking of which, is there any way to get just the right hand brake lever of a SRAM Red set? Mine got some big gouges from a crash (still works fine but looks a mess).

As far as I can tell you get the same cassette an chain from Merlin as you do from Fudges. Or am I missing something?

When I enquired, the chain, cassette and cables were all different, and not the latest models, either (you have to check it all for yourself). Fudge send only what they advertise, you select each item you want from drop downs, and they deliver promptly. Faultless service.
