hi guys,

ive just installed a black box damping unit into my reba sl's.

my question is do i need to swap in the rebound adjuster unit from the teams that damping unit came out of? or are they just standard through the range?

and how does the "black box" unit improve over the motion control?

the reason for swapping the units is the teams are the wrong colour, incase you were wondering!

thanks in advance

With non motion control forks, if you upgrade, you do need to upgrade the rebound assembly.

Black Box MoCo introduced the Dual Flow circuits. This adds a non adjustable high speed damper in conjuction with a the normal low speed adjustable circuit. Also BB has a titanium damper.

Dual Flow rebond has fixed beginning stroke rebound and adjustable end stroke.

Quite a few combos out there depending on year, I would talk to TF Tuned or Fisher to be on ths safe side.

    thanks super.

the reba teams that the bb came out of are 2009 and the sl's that theyre going into are 2010.
i check that the units where the same length as apparently on some years they are longer and bottom out on the top of the rebound unit.

guess i'll ring fishers or tf tuned tomorrow if theyre open.
