Can anyone advise how the Welsh trails match up to the Scottish ones? Some mates were talking about weekend in Wales riding, but I think there is musch better up here, without the long drive.

I do trail centres but much prefer the natural stuff - WHW, Glen Etive, etc. Anyone been on both (Wales and Scotland) have an opinion?

No point in asking about English trail centres....

sorry mate, i can't compare the welsh trail centres as i've never ridden there. we have some great riding here though. i imagine very similar to what you have but on slightly smaller mountains

worth a trip if you wanna ride something different :D

Was that not part of the Thailand Tourist Board advertising slogans?

As much as the welsh trails are awesome, I wouldnt bother travelling that far when theres so much awesome natural riding right near you.

Yeah, or in between you and Wales for that matter - Lake District, Peaks etc... worth making into a longer trip perhaps

Plenty of great stuff in Wales but Scotland has more IMO.

Plus if it is for the natural stuff rather than trail centres there is the outdoor access laws to consider too.
