Ok so I’m a newbi so be gentle!

compression
Headset FSA Orbit Z,
Rims Mavic XM
Tire Continental Mountain King Fold 2.2” X 26” Kevlar

Front Derailleur SRAM X-5
Rear Derailleur SRAM X-9 Red Anodized
Cassette SRAM PG-950 11-34
Chain SRAM
Crankset Truvativ Firex 3.1, 44/32/22
Bottom Bracket GXP
Seatpost Truvativ Stylo Race
Stem Truvativ Stylo Race
Brakes Elixir 5, White, 180mm Front Rotor and 160mm Rear Rotor
Brake Levers Elixir 5
I have only changed the following mostly for aesthetics and weight loss since having it:
Handle bars - Race Face deus red anodised
Pedals - SARS red anodised
Grips - white ODI Ruffian Lock-On,
Bar ends - white Ritchey
Saddle - fizik tundra 2
Mudguard - RRP
Presta valve caps - red anodised KCNC

Seat Clamp - KCNC red anodised on its way!
Looking to get a new steam any advice which one?!
Any other recomendations for upgrades much appreciated, and if you have any views on the bike please let me know, like i say im new to this and only had it a month.

Nice to see another 901 at last! I was begining to think I was the only one.
How you finding it? I'm loving mine. I've done a bit of a red thing with mine and thought of those bars before I got some Easton Haven.
I wanted to change my stem too. I was thinking of the Sunline XC1 (I think). Comes in black with red face plate. Nice and light too but a bit pricey.0 -

It is a great bike!!! Get more and more confident with ever ride! It has great control and yeah it is so reponsive.
Well i have sprayed the forks and got me some gold recon decals, think they look much better than the black it came with! Still looking for a decent white stem though!
Will take some pics of it tonight and post them up tomorrow.0 -

Hi Chris, sorry to take so long to reply.....
I just wet and dryed the forks as the condistion of them were perfect without any chips to the paint work. Just make sure you prime them well, and use a degreaser so the paint takes well to the forks. I used Halfords metal paint which is really easy to use, 3-4 coats is enough but make sure you put at least 5 coats of clear laquer on (also from halfords), this will help prevent the paint wearing and chipping easily.
Hope this helps let me know how you get on?!0 -
No probs mate
and cheers for the advice, I'll pop down to halfords in the coming week and probably spray them in a couple depending on how things go as I'm looking at getting a set of white Foxes off fleebay...
And however things go, I'll post some pics when its all done0 -
hi, what is that cover thing on the front fork? what is it for?0
