Campag Cable routing tips for Deda 100 bars
I have just built a new bike trying out the Deda 100 bars. They only have a single cable channel underneath the bars to route the cables!!! I have tried a couple of ways of routing the cable from the shifter hoods around to the oversized bar but neither look or feel very professional, has anyone out there got any tips or advise on how they may have routed theirs..... thanx .

I don't have Deda 100's but on my Ritchey bars there is a single groove running between the front and base of the bar. I positioned my cables there, holding them in palce with three individual loops of eleccy tape.
Routing them over the top and then tucked under the front was the best option for me and seems quite neat and tidy. Shifting is faultless from the off to my suprise
Kinda like this (although there are no gear cables installed on this example)Up: Wilier Mortirolo
Down: Orange Patriot0 -
You could also try cross-over routing i.e. LH gear cable to RH cable stop and vice-versa - cross the inners back underneath the down tube - means you have a nice open bend for the cable. You could also route your brake cables as designed i.e. RH lever for front brake.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
