    Try telling the average pedestrian that hopping onto the pavement (at about 36 seconds) is 'fun'. Even if he's nowhere near hitting anyone, seeing a cyclist dart across a road and hop onto the pavement will have the preconceived ideas about all cyclists being a menace reinforced. I've seen a fair few posts on this board with people complaining about their SCR opponent hopping onto the pavement.

    I'm in the moaners camp when it comes to RLJ cyclists etc but (note I haven't watched the video in its entirety) it looks like most of this was orchestrated & I don't see it as any different to Top Gear racing a clio against a mountain biker through the streets of France, be it one had a little more budget.

    Yup. Guarantee that there were marshalls at every crossing and pavement hop. Note that apart from the on-road filtering shots you don't see any cars moving on the roads at all.
