I have just purchased a XT rear cassette but on opening it it has four arms on the spider
The ones pictured on websites are shown as having five
have I got a older one or a newer one or have I been given a cheaper one its say's it's a CS-M770 on the locking ring
also it's a 11-32T
I am wandering are the 11-34T ones with 5 spider arms????

I think you can assume that any cassette with an alloy spider is either XT, XTR, Ultegra or Dura-Ace. Or SRAM 970/980 or 990.
In other words, it'll be good enough for anyone...(9spd)
Doesn't matter what the lockring is...0
