New MTB

HI im 14 and ride my bike to school each day ( about 1 mile ) . I also ride my bike around Sherwood Pines ( www.sherwoodpinescycles.co.uk ) on weekends . I currently ride a Rayleigh AT10 but I would like to get a new MTB for between £250 and £400 . But i want a bike with: disk or hydrolic brakes , 21+ gears , hardtail ,and gear shifters with the leavers ( i don't know the proper name) and at least as light as my AT10. Can i please have some suggestions please? thanks
