i have a trek remedy 7 (2008) with Rockshox Rockshox Lyrik U-Turn 115-160mm Suspension Forks. one of the suspension legs has worn. you can see where the coating has worn away to show a silver surface. I cant afford a new bike, a new set of forks is around £500 - £600 which is well expensive.

Does anyone know how much it may cost to repair/replace the fork leg?
Thanks :)

Without pics it's hard to say if it can be repaired

New upper assembly required if not repairable

Cost is not that far off a new set of forks. (£343 IIRC)

Other parts may be damaged too (Seals etc) so a full service might also be a good idea at the same time

Not the exact part he needs, that's the 2 step version, the OP needs the U turn one, similar price though

Also may need other parts to fully repair fork.

But pics of the damage will show if new parts are needed or a repair will work.
