Me and my mate are trying to biuld a pump track, however we have no experiance.
How much dirt do we need... We have a a spare field so we have a lot of space.
Do we need a certain type of dirt or do we just dig?
Should i spray the dirt with a hose or just compact it.
Any imput would be much appreciated.
I was also looking at buying a coloured chain for my bike. gusset slinks are no use as im not single speed.. any ideas would be much appreciated.
Cheers

a lot of dirt, and it depends on size.
make sure to build it so it has a flow, if something you can alter things.
best thing to do it use damp dirt, compacts much easier and pat it down as much as possible.
tables are easy, just make a pile of dirt, compact at the top, then on the take off and landing and alter them accordingly, you can also make them into a bit of a hip by making the landing at an angle.
good luck and have fun0 -
using logs for the main base, means that you need less dirt. just a tip0
