Looking fro some new wheels for my training/commuting bike.
Had looked at the Planet X Model B but see the Reynolds Shadow can be had for £199.
Anyone got these and any feedback?

  • Not tried those wheels in particular, but all the Reynolds wheels I have used have been fantastic.

cheers, spoke to the guys selling them and they have had mixed rider feedback.
Seems they have now been discontinued and Reynolds are only offering the Solititude and above now.
Back to Pro Lite Lucciano and Planet X Mod B decision then...

I would take a trip out to wheelcraft. You will get a very nice set of handbuilts for that kind of money.

My best wheels are from Al and I spoke to him yesterday about building me a set of new training wheels. Just saw these and thought i'd put it out there.
Planet x and pro lite were the only other comparisons in the £150 bracket had initially budgeted for.
