Hope floaters compatible with other brakes?

Currently running Magura louise carbon BAT's...Are hope floating rotors compatible with other brakes especially these or will i have problems?

    they can be ok on some and cause issues on others.

    by using them you will lose the 5 year leak free warranty.

    you will not gain any braking performance.

    So, simple answer is, don't bother.

    I'm using Hope floaters with M970 XTR calipers & they work fine.

    Well, since the compatibility is very hit and miss, and he's got Bat brakes, it's not great, is it?

    I have 160 mm hope float SAW working ok with Magura marta calper.
  • They don't work with avids.

    Not that it affects the OP.

    They work fine with my Avids!
  • mine work fine with avids tough my lbs had to tinker to get them right

    The floating bushes that hold the braking surface in place catch on the pad removal watsits on Avid pads.

    They worked OK with my Shimano XTs. By which I mean they restricted the caliper setup (needed to be absolutely perfect and centred) and were expensive and heavier than the cheaper steel rotors I replaced them with and had no advantages other than looking nice.

    These days I treat them as a sort of mug detector.
