Garmin 800, which maps?

City Navigator or Discover OS, I am confused what the difference is, they are about the same price when bought new so I don't know which to go for.

    City Navigator is for detailed road mapping, Discover OS is the same as an OS map, I think. Shame the latter isn't compatible with my 705. :(
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    So is the is still detailed enough to get round on the roads with?

    The problem I've found with the City Navigator maps is that once you're into the countryside many country roads, and not just single track roads, aren't on the maps.

    I've been looking at the Discover OS maps to see if they would remedy this.
