I saw this advert at a German electronics show last week. Looks like cycling and doping is now associated so much it is an advertising feature

'stands back and waits for Frank the Tank to come home from work and see this' - you have been warned :roll:0 -
Isn't there an advert for one of the "skins/baselayer" type products where its shows a police raid and the base layer being taken away as evidence......
Kind of the same thing - legal advantage type of insinuation.0 -

This is an ad for a liquid to help prevent baldness. "Doping for the hair". They advertise in German cycling mags and even sponsor a team.0 -
Doping in cycling is a bigger deal in Germany than other nations.
German broadcasters stopped showing the Tour because of doping, remember?0 -
The Germans are obsessed with doping. As soon as you mention that you like cycling someone jumps down your throat about how the pros "all dope". I suppose it's because of the number of high-profile cases they've had. The only people who don't bang on about it are the German Eurosport commentators. They mention it sometimes but generally talk about the race in progress. Luckily, I'm bilingual and don*'t have to listen to the British commentary.0

I went to see my German doctor to get a medical form signed for a sportive a few years back. After taking my blood pressure, etc., he casually asked if I doped. I must have looked a little puzzled as he clarified himself, "performance enhancing drugs". I think he was being serious, but if you've seen me you'd wonder why he asked.0
