yup. It's worn so badly that the central metal bearing has worn itself a massive groove. I think this is winter riding damage. The top jockey however seems fine...
I'm suprised at the cost of fixing this though. I thought it would be £103 to repair the SLX mech but then I found a pair for £43 so it's all ok.
