I've been having issues with Reba race loosing air (-ve), I have done an air service, which appeared to go well...... although I'm still loosing air! So maybe not so well. Going to strip it again and see if I can see what the issue is, but think I may have to replace whole Air Spring.

I have found a cheap Reba World Cup Dual Air Spring Assy, but want to know if this is compatible with the Race?

Reba World Cup Dual Air Spring Assy (85-100mm) 11.4013.082.000
Reba Dual Air Spring Assy 11.4311.450.000

Any ideas?

Cheers
Gareth

My race is around 08, the WC air spring is same period based on roxshock parts list. Just pulled mine a part again, cant see anything wrong. Cheers.
  • try takeing the valve (the part wher you atatch you shock pump to the fork) to a tyre place and get them to replace the core had a simular problem with my manatou's and hay presto fixed good look

Hi - Already replaced the valve core, think it is around the -ve O Rings as it popped the oil seal once, which would lead me to think the -ve air is leaking into the lower leg. Saying this I really can see where it can be leaking, the new O rings all look and feel snug and smooth.... :?
  • not eaning to sound condersending but did you grease the seals i did my reat shock and didnt do this and it lost air only on rides so could it be this ?

.... now you mention it, I didn't, I had 2 guides from Rockshox and one didn't say to grease up (so I didn't  ) did oil them well - I feel them coming apart again tomorrow night - thanks for pointing this out.

    Cheers
