Bullet Camera and setting up a recording kit list

Hi,

Got my mitts on an Actioncam Bullet camera and wanting to find out about DVR's and what is worth having. I'm not expecting to make any amazing videos but I'm looking for something small, decent battery life and a decent capacity for memory. I'm not planning on recording the audio (listenign to myself huffing and puffing isn't appealing), but I do fancy filming the riding.

So Bullet cam on noggin and I'm needing a recording device that is small - not fussed about playback on the device, as ideally I'd just remove the memort card, plug into my PC and watch/edit it). Looking for something cheap and ideally remote controlled for recording.

Any suggestions? Also any suggestions on camera location/gear set up etc.?
