I am on a budget, anything above US$150 is a stretch.

I had bought a Blackburn Atom4.0 Wireless computer some time back.. it stopped detecting movement in less that 30 days. Allot of attempts and several batteries later i have given up on it.

i am planning to train a bit more aggressively and want a new Cycle Computer that also shows cadence, Heart rate and is ultimately reliable!!!

Any guidance is highly appreciated.

  • See what price you can get a garmin 305 or 705 off ebay. Both can be used with cadence and heart rate monitors.

dont have ebay in my country so that option is out.

I have narrowed my choice down to
    CatEye V3 Wireless ($135)
    Polar CS200cad ($160)

Both come with HRM, Cadence etc.

    Any experiences? or recommendations?

I've used both in the past and Cateye are much more reliable. The Polar CS200 is difficult to set up and it was forever losing it's signal. Also the transmitters are sealed units so when the batteries run out you have to buy new ones.
