    the girlfriend, I ride this one a lot, do a lot of commuting on her and take my son out at the weekend:

    the mistress, got this for commuting and it's awesome. Some bits are starting to wear out so due an overhaul anytime soon:

    Got rid of sram stuff and swapped for Shimano. Gears and brakes now all XT.

    Schweeeet, definitely agree on the dropper post. You should definitely try and get hold of a mission control cartridge to replace the stock damper in the fork as well. It's 1000x better.

    Agreed, that's the next two things on my list. Followed by either an RP23 rear shock to replace the stock rp2 or just getting that one kashima'd and/or push'd.

    I think you'd get more out of a dropper post/mico cartridge, the RP2 is a good shock.
